Funke oshonaike was born in lagos, Nigeria into the family of Olujuwon and Olayinka Oshonaike of agbowa ikosi, Ogun state. Funke is the third of ten children. They all reside in lagos except for my sister Idowu Oshonaike ,who is currently residing in Lyon, Fance.
Education and Career
Funke had a diploma in physical and health education from the university of Lagos, Nigeria, she is also a cosmetologist and a makeup artist. She play table tennis for Nigeria and she has been representing Nigeria since she was 14yrs old. She left Nigeria for her professional career 1994 to Siracusa Italy, where she spent 2yrs, then to Cagliari Italy, she was also there for another 2yrs. Because she love adventure,she left italy to Hamburg, Germany 1998,and she has been playing for the same club since then and the name of the club is sc poppenbuttel Hamburg. She was Africa champiom for so many years. She also represented Nigeria in commonwealth games, world championships and was in Atlanta 96, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beiijing 2008 olympic games.
Besides, Miss Oshonaike affectionatelly called Funke has been very supportive to social activities in Hamburg were she resides.
