THE ORIGIN OF KENTE

The 2010 “Kente Festival Hamburg” is taking place on Saturday 16^th of October. It is the biggest Ghanaian cultural event in Hamburg. Both the 2007 and 2008 show was a spectacular and captivating performance. The colourful and artistry display of Ghanaian dresses and great ingenuity of Ghanaians and fellow Africans on both occasion were mind blowing.

Reservations about helping Pakistan

The devastating flooding in Pakistan has been described by UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon as a slow motion tsunami. At least 20 million people have been affected, with half of these having lost their homes, crops or livestock. Yet sympathy and more importantly, aid, has been slow in coming from much of the western world, including Germany.
